As makers of the finest furniture for over 25 years, and a family
tradition in furniture-making that goes back to the 1930s, we
understand the components necessary to the design and production of
pieces of heirloom quality. Therefore, furniture lines that are
available in our store must meet stringent criteria of the highest
quality standards.
Wood case goods, such as tables, chairs, and cabinets, must be
constructed with corner blocks with wood glue and screws. Hardwoods
must be used, and construction techniques must be of the highest
caliber. Upholstered pieces must be framed with hardwood, and with
corner blocks, wood glue, and screws. Eight-way hand-tied springs are
preferred in seating, and only the highest quality fabric or leather is
acceptable.
All of our lines are "Green" or Emerging Green," and are built by
historically-proven Sustainable techniques.
